Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is an application-layer signaling protocol that can establish, modify and terminate multimedia sessions over IP Protocol. It is used for signaling procedures in next generation all IP based VoIP solutions like IMS and Volte.
In this course, you will thoroughly study SIP and associated protocols to gain a clear vision of the big picture.
You will learn SIP protocol including SIP, SDP along with traces to correlate your learning. You will learn what each SIP component is and how it functions in an actual VoIP network. You will also examine how SIP fits into the current telecommunications network – both wired and wireless.
The lessons in this course are clear, very technical, and always practical. Since at least 30% of them are hands-on, you can both investigate and reinforce each lesson.
